Circulated as a participant tape set; the source upload dates it to November 1988 while the Terence McKenna Archives bibliography lists a 1991 Esalen workshop under the title "The Time Wave, the Tao, and Novelty".

The second outtake is from a 1970's television show of Leary discussing the role of heroes. The third is an excerpt of Leary's lecture on the subject of California in the future from the 1980's. The fourth is an excerpt from the Tom Snyder Show with Leary about the 1960's use of LSD.
