Terence McKenna on former LAPD chief Daryl Gates' KFI-AM talk show in Los Angeles, 1993. Gates hosted on KFI for roughly fifteen months, ending December 1993. The appearance is datable to the same afternoon as McKenna's Phoenix Book Store talk on True Hallucinations -- the host's introduction to that talk refers to the Gates broadcast having aired earlier that day.
